Hey Sister Sparrow and the Dirty Birds, Sorry to hear of your recent bad news, my wife and I will be making a donation to help you guys recoup your losses. I am the guy that has met you at Club Helsinki, Rock-n-Roll Resort, and in Stroudsburg Pa, I am friends of moe, I hope to see your band play in Albany and Helsinski, hang in there! I know it is hard now, but it will work out in the end, Have a Happy Holidays. With Peace.....John and Jill...:)
Hey John and Jill - thanks so much for your message. Your words sustain us in times of darkness. We're happy that regardless of whatever happened, we're still able to get up onstage and play some music. And we really appreciate all your support over the years! We love to hear stories like that. Looking forward to seeing you guys again soon.
I have a question for Jackson, I play harp too! What helped you the most when you were just starting out! I can play tunes like I am working on Somewhere over the rainbow, but have no idea what to do with it afterwards, you know improv stuff. I throw in a hand vibrato in there but it gets boring after a while. just want to get to your level bro!Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds responded on 12/05/2013 Next question
Dirty Birds! I live in a small college town called Moscow, Idaho. Around here we don't have many local brass bands, but I want to see a revival in that genre. Will you come out West and spread your influence? We have lots of jazz and folk around my area, but not enough meat! Hope to see you on tour someday! -GunnSister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds responded on 01/14/2014
