Saw you at Madison Park and liked your sound. (I was the very Howard Stern-looking fellow sitting in a chair on your left.) Kinda wanted to say hello after the performance, but was running late so had to flee. Will try to catch your next NYC show. When is that again?
Hey Ron! We do remember you. We're at the Bowery Ballroom 2 nights - Fri Nov 27 & Sat Nov 28. It's the weekend right after Thanksgiving. Tickets are here if you scroll down: http://www.boweryballroom.com/calendar/
A buddy and I happened to catch you at the Petaluma Festival a couple of weeks ago (I had seen you once prior, a jaw dropping spectacular at Moe's Alley in Santa Cruz. I've talked youse all up but never like to overhype, simply saying: "Go see em live". And lawdy lawdy, you turned a pleasant day of music into a kick ass spectacle. No manager should ever schedule you before their band!! Or take the risk of being fired. Mother Hips is good, oft-times very good but the energy and big smiles and semi-dancing prowess you brought to the festival was, well, I don't think I have the words for it! Thanks again for kicking ass and making the world one big groovefest.
Oh, one other thing, I love the way your flock ends songs. You end them definitively, no lollygagging where the energy diffuses, You get in, get out and before we can catch our breath, you're rocking and rolling into the new song. Yeah, keep up the good, make that great work!
