Not a question, but an observation: My mother was a Freedom Rider back in the 60's and I grew up around the movement...when you sang "we'll be singing in our prison cells, prison cells" - it was very deep. I know it's a song of joy and mischief, but it is also exactly what the activists did when they filled up the jails in the south - they sang in the prison cells. Thank you for raising your voice to power. peace.
Let freedom ring! The power of music to bring us together is some magical stuff. Peace Hilly!

Love your updated 60's soul sound - took me back...heard Mama Knows - ya'lls sound jumped out the radio at me - so beautiful black-soul, so old and at the same time so new. Sista Sparrow - girl, you're speaking truth - "you ain't got love, you aint got nothin'." Many thanks for helping to start my thursday morning off right.Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds responded on 02/12/2016
